Teacher Preparation
This program is designed to provide students with a seamless transfer to any of the 16 public universities of The University of North Carolina (UNC) system, as well as any NC Independent Colleges and Universities Educator Preparation programs with junior level status.
Associate in Arts – Teacher Preparation prepares students for teaching at elementary, middle, and high school levels, especially with emphasis on writing, history, humanities, psychology, sociology, art, music, and related fields.
Associate in Science – Teacher Preparation prepares students for teaching at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, especially in the areas of math, science, engineering, technology computer science, agriculture, and related fields.

Early Childhood Education
This program is designed to prepare individuals to work with children from birth through eight in diverse learning environments. Students combine learned theory with practice in actual settings with young childer under the supervision of qualified teachers.
Graduates are prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in early childhood settings. Employment opportunities include child development programs, preschools, public and private schools, recreational centers, Head Start Programs, and school-age programs. Early Childhood Education
