BCC’s Student Government Association (SGA) members serve as the collective voice of our students. These leaders work to enhance college life experiences and lead the planning and implementation of special events including Fall Fling, Welcome Back Bash, holiday parties, coffee house gatherings, Spring Fest, service activities, and more. SGA serves as the liaison between the College Administration and the student body and is represented at all meetings of the BCC Board of Trustees. This morning, President Gene Smith, assisted by Student Events and Activities Coordinator Brooke Goff, swore in four 2023-2024 SGA members. They include President Ashton Watkins, Treasurer Evelyn Newsome, Secretary Marissa Gainey, and Public Information Officer Trinity Clark. Vice President Cy’neia Bellamy was unable to attend but will be sworn in at a later time.
