COS 224 – Trichology & Chemistry

Prerequisites: COS 111 and COS 112 Corequisites: None

This course is a study of hair and the interaction of applied chemicals. Emphasis is placed on pH actions and the reactions and effects of chemical ingredients. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate an understanding of chemical terminology, pH testing, and chemical reactions on hair.
