BCC Welding Technology Students Graduate

BCC Welding Technology Graduates, Instructors, and Leadership

BCC President Dr. Gene Smith recently joined instructors, faculty, and staff to celebrate our most recent Welding Technology graduates. The Welding Technology curriculum gives students a sound understanding of the science, technology, and applications essential for successful employment in the welding and metalworking industry. Career opportunities in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, sales, quality control, supervision, and welding-related self-employment also exist. During their training, students earn numerous industry certifications from Starrett, Snap On, Lincoln, 3M, and more.

The BCC Welding program is growing by leaps and bounds, thanks partly to an extensive renovation and expansion. The Welding lab recently added Miller and Lincoln welding machines, a CNC Plasma Cutting Machine, a Tensile & Bend Weld Tester, a DoAll Saw, and Air Purification welding booths.
