June 29, 2022 — BCC President Gene Smith, joined by many members of the college’s faculty, staff, and board members, celebrated six long-time employees on their well-deserved retirement. Amidst heartfelt thanks, humorous stories, treasured memories, and more, President Smith led the group in an afternoon of wonderful fellowship.“It has been a long time since we’ve been able to gather like this,” said President Smith. “I’m enjoying watching all of you enjoying each other. I could not be happier for or more grateful to each of you for your service to BCC. You will always be part of our family and we hope you will be back to visit often.”While not all could be present, today’s celebration honored Sandra Bullard, Julie Clark, Ann Harrison, Nancy Locklear, Jacki Pritchard, and Dr. Lois Smith. Congratulations to all!
