BCC Celebrates Lineworker Graduates
Congratulations to BCC’s most recent Lineworker Program graduates! Over the previous ten weeks, students spent 400 hours of instruction, earning over 16 industry-recognized certifications in this pre-apprenticeship program. Training requires both physical and mental toughness.
Congratulations to Kian Abbott, Cameron Cox, Timothy Duncan, Nicholas Hayes, Jeff Hillbourn, Jesus Huerta-Salazar, Shamir McDow, Caleb Nobles, Allen Olmeda-Palacios, Christopher Ries, and Zachary Shoulders. Graduation also included the presentation of the Colby Haithcock Memorial Scholarship to Allen Olmeda-Palacios. This $500 scholarship is in memory of Colby, a wonderful young man who dreamed of being a lineworker but left us far too soon. Colby’s stepfather, David Anderson, presented the award.
Our heartfelt thanks go to Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation for their invaluable support in making this program possible. If you’re considering a career as a Lineworker, now is the time to act. The next session is just around the corner, starting on January 13, 2025. To seize this opportunity, call (910) 755-7320 or email [email protected] today to learn more and secure your spot!
