Assistance League of Greater Wilmington Supports BCC Nursing Students

The BCC Foundation received an early holiday gift as Marsha Oleander and Josselyn Gregory of the Assistance League of Greater Wilmington presented President Gene Smith with a check for $25,000 in support of the Operation Scholar fund. Operation Scholar awards support BCC’s second-year nursing students as they work toward their Associate Degree in Nursing. Chartered in 2012, the Assistance League of Greater Wilmington is one of 120 chapters of a nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action. Throughout the years, the Wilmington chapter has supported many BCC nursing students.

The application for BCC’s Nursing Program opens on December 1.
