How to Apply

High School Student Programs

High school students may enroll and complete college classes while still enrolled in high school. Dual Enrollment opportunities are available to public, private, and homeschool students. Bus transportation is available for eligible public high school students from their high school and then home, or students may provide their own transportation to BCC campus.

Career and College Promise (CCP) students may choose from College Transfer, Career and Technical Education, and Workforce Continuing Education Pathways while Early College High School (ECHS) students may choose College Transfer and Career and Technical Education pathways.

  • South Brunswick HS – Monday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • North Brunswick HS – Monday and Wednesday
  • West Brunswick HS – Tuesday and Thursday
  • Private/Homeschool – Tuesday
Public School

Steps to enroll in Career and College Promise at Brunswick Community College:

Step 1: Meet with your high school Guidance Counselor and obtain the following information:

  • Career and College Promise Authorization Form
  • Official High School Transcript
  • Copies of Test Scores (PLAN, PSAT, Pre-ACT, ACT, SAT)

Step 2: Apply to be a Student

Step 3: Meet with your high school Career Coach. Bring your completed CCP Packet

  • Bring your completed CCP Packet (Authorization form/transcript/test scores)
  • Determine CCP Pathway Eligibility
  • Register for Classes

Step 4: Attend mandatory orientation at Brunswick Community College.

  • Pay your college fees ($13.50 or $25.50) through Self-Service (once you have your login information) or by calling the Cashier’s office to pay over the phone, 910.755.7318.
  • Get your Student ID (Building A upstairs, Learning Resource Center)
  • If applicable, get your BCC Parking Pass (Building A-downstairs, One-Stop Student Service Center)
  • Pick-up books at BCC Bookstore
Private/Home School

Early College High School

The Brunswick County Early College High School is a Cooperative and Innovative High School located on BCC’s campus. ECHS have the opportunity to earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree or transferable credits. As freshmen, students experience their first college class and establish personalized plans in order to complete their program in five, possibly four years.

Steps to enroll in courses at BCC:

Step 1: Meet with your High School Guidance Counselor to discuss your Program of Study.

Step 2: Apply to be a Student

Step 3: Register for Classes

  • Meet with your ECHS Counselor to discuss your class options.
  • Plan your college courses within Self-Service
  • Meet with your BCC Advisor to get final approval and register for classes.
  • Pay your college fees ($13.50 or $25.50) through Self-Service (once you have your login information) or by calling the Cashier’s office to pay over the phone, 910.755.7318.
  • Get your Student ID (Building A upstairs, Learning Resource Center)
