Latin 504 – Mark

Following the textbook The Vulgate of Mark with the Synoptic Parallels, we will be translating the New Testament – the sixteen chapters of Mark in detail, and will read for comprehension Matthew and Luke noting the similarities of each. The Vulgate (Common People) Latin is not particularly difficult to translate, and unlike other historical works every student will have an opinion about the story of Jesus. Class held at the Southport Senior Resource Center.
