PED 250 – Officiating/Bkball/Vball

Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None

This course introduces the rules and techniques for sports officiating in basketball and volleyball. Emphasis is placed on officiating fundamentals and responsibilities. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proper mechanics and knowledge of officiating procedures in basketball and volleyball.  This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement for the AA & AS degrees.
