Brunswick Community College (BCC) has joined North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and seven other North Carolina community colleges in a new partnership designed to make transferring to a four-year university more accessible, affordable, and seamless for students.

Through Eagle Connect, eligible BCC students will receive guaranteed admission to NCCU, a waived $50 application fee, assistance with course selection, and early registration opportunities. Students may also qualify for transfer scholarships and gain early access to NCCU resources, campus events, career fairs, and academic support services.

“At BCC, we’re always looking for ways to create more opportunities for our students and help them reach their educational goals,” said Dr. David Townsend, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Chief Academic Officer. “This partnership provides another clear, supported pathway to a bachelor’s degree, giving students the confidence and resources they need to take that next step.”

BCC is one of eight community colleges joining the Eagle Connect initiative, which strengthens collaboration between NCCU and community colleges across North Carolina.

The partnership reflects BCC’s continued commitment to helping students build a strong academic foundation and successfully transition to the next stage of their education.
