MUS 151 – Class Music I

Prerequisites: None Corequisites: None

This course provides group instruction in skills and techniques of the particular instrument or voice for those with little or no previous experience. Emphasis is placed on techniques and styles and the exploration and study of appropriate literature. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the studied skills and repertoire through performance. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement for the AA & AS degrees.
