MUS 122 – Music Theory II

Prerequisites: MUS 121 Corequisites: None

This course is a continuation of studies begun in MUS 121. Emphasis is placed on advanced melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic analysis and continued studies in part-writing, ear- training, and sight-singing. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate proficiency in the recognition and application of the above. This course has been approved for transfer under the CAA and ICAA as a pre-major and/or elective course requirement for the AA & AS degrees.
